New Features
In-Sight Explorer 6.5.1 introduces the following new feature:
ValidateIDData: updated GS1 data validation by supporting new application identifiers (AIs) to August 2024 version. This includes AIs 716, 7041, 7250-7259, 4330-4333, 7241, 7242, and 8030. Further enhanced AIs 8013 and 8014.
Bug Fixes
In addition to the new feature, several bugs were fixed in this release including:
Audit messaging: WebHMI user and host source are now correctly logged when modifying the EditCompositeRegion function.
Audit messaging: Unsuccessful login attempts are now logged.
Fixed a firmware memory leak that occurs when opening and closing WebHMI connections.
Resolved a 9902L issue where connections could be dropped due to noise interference.
Discrete outputs: Fixed a condition where output pulse widths were occasionally shorter than expected. This was observed on fast-triggering applications, or when multiple output signals occurred simultaneously.
Fixed a fatal condition that could occur during the bootup process of an In-Sight 8500 series vision system.
ReadIDMax omni-postal (PLANET): improved decoding for 14-digit Postnet codes, resolving certain no-read conditions.
Cognex Network Server documentation: added instructions on how to set up a remote datastore for Audit Logging. For more information, see the Cognex Network Server documentation.
