COGNEX NETWORK SERVER 2.0 (CNS)
The Cognex Network Server provides a mechanism for users to create and manage trusted certificates that are required to establish an HTTPS connection between In-Sight devices and the Web HMI.
You can use the Cognex Network Server Manager to:
Configure settings for the Cognex Network Server
View the server and certificate information
After installing the Cognex Network Server software, the Cognex Network Server Manager application can be launched from the Cognex Network Server icon in the Microsoft® Windows® System Tray. If the Cognex Network Server icon is not found in the System Tray, it can also be opened from the Windows Start menu (All Programs > Cognex > Cognex Network Server Manager)
Highlights of the Cognex Network Server 2.0 release include:
Added a setting to enable/disable the Windows notification regarding newly discovered IP addresses.
Added the ability to specify one of the server’s IP addresses as the server's primary host name.
