This file contains installation instructions and compatibility information for the Static Test Software Suite used in the Static Structural Test Reference Architecture.
You can access the Static Structural Test Reference Architecture documentation by search at
ni.com.
OverviewThe Static Test Software Suite includes FlexLogger, the Static Data Viewer web application, and SystemLink Server for use in aerospace data acquisition and test development environments.
Included ComponentsStatic Test Software Suite 1.2 includes the following major components:
Note The Static Test Software Suite does not include licenses for FlexLogger and SystemLink. You must purchase separate licenses for each product.
Note The Static Test Software Suite does not include a license for Microsoft Office. You must purchase a separate license for Microsoft Excel.
System RequirementsStatic Test Software Suite 1.2 requires the following:
Intel Xeon E-2286G CPU 4.0 GHz, 6-Core
64 GB RAM
At least 30 GB of disk space
Gigabit Ethernet adapter (x2) (one dedicated for instrumentation network)
Windows 10 64-bit
DHCP server support or an external DHCP-enabled router
Installation InstructionsDownload the Static Test Software Suite installer from
ni.com/downloads. NI software includes NI Package Manager to handle the installation. Refer to the
NI Package Manager Manual for more information about installing, removing, and upgrading NI software using NI Package Manager.
Note During FlexLogger installation, ensure that NI-DAQmx cDAQ Firmware is selected for download in the Additional items you may wish to install page. It is selected by default. The downloaded cDAQ firmware is required to update the firmware on the cDAQ chassis in the reference architecture.
Product Security and Critical UpdatesAutomating the Installation of NI ProductsYou can automate the installation of most NI products using command-line arguments to suppress some or all of the installer user interface and dialog boxes.
If the NI product you are installing uses Microsoft .NET 4.6.2, the .NET installer may run before any NI software installs and may require a reboot before the installation of NI software begins. To avoid a .NET reboot, install .NET 4.6.2 separately before you install NI software.

Microsoft Windows 10 is the latest version of the Windows operating system and features significant changes compared to previous versions.
